Day 4- BE “MINDFULLY” HAPPY

Mark Twain once said “The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up.”

Humans have the desire to socialize, to love, and to connect with other human beings, and this will drive our desire to be happy. Often times when I try to shut myself away from others; I discover this is when I attract the most people. I believe this is a higher power’s way of reminding me I need to contribute to others. Years ago I got really sick and it took many years to recover. Since then my anxiety levels can reach it’s limits pretty quickly. When I am in larger crowds and the noise levels get really loud I tend to shut down fairly quickly. At this point you will find me quietly off to the side. I can guarantee I am happy there by myself or with one person just observing. Most times what really happens is others will follow me. I apparently have this charismatic personality thats has a beacon that says “come hang with me” 🤣. I generally have to remind myself to stop shutting people out. They apparently need me to be there for them. When we are available to comfort or show support to others we bring happiness to them and ourselves. I am constantly working on sharing myself and bringing happiness to others. I would encourage everyone to bring others happiness even if it’s just talking to a person next to you in line while shopping. Or maybe call that one friend you haven’t talked to in forever, but you know the chat will make you both feel happier. Please share if you made anyone happy today. #knitting #crochet #loomknitting #relaxing
